Xero is one of the most popular cloud-based accounting applications available today and is used by a large number of small - medium-sized businesses globally. This is a practical hands on course aimed at providing users with the essential skills needed for working with Xero on a day to day basis and uses real world business simulations in a New Zealand context. Taught by Xero certified advisers who use the software regularly and can point out tips and tricks as well as potential pitfalls.
Suitable for a wide range of participants including business owners, bookkeepers, accountants, administration staff, those transitioning from different accounting packages, self-taught users who are looking to fill in knowledge gaps and those looking to either return to the workforce or those exploring new employment opportunities.
Familiarity with using the basic functions of a computer such as navigating the Windows environment, navigating the internet and operating a mouse and keyboard would be an advantage but are not essential. If you don't already have these skills taking a course in Computer Basics first may be beneficial.
